Meet the Chicks
Alana & Liz
Alana has a big beautiful family with five young children, as well as plenty of nieces and nephews. She keeps chickens and turkeys, tends an impressive garden, has two energetic dogs, and an elusive cat. Hopefully adding more animal friends soon, too! Friends and family frequently visit, and love to stay for dinner and dessert. Alana prefers baking, and decorates cakes and cupcakes herself for all the family’s birthdays and events. Alana grew up on a buffalo farm, and is no stranger to a kitchen full of hungry folks!
Liz enjoys cooking for her family at gatherings, and at work on a larger scale. She has one loyal dog, two attention-seeking cats, and enjoys growing herbs to use in her recipes. Liz prefers to cook, though she does dabble in bread-making. Having grown up with a large family, Liz is familiar with a “no room left at the table” meal!
